Nick Merry
Ceramic Art

Nick lives and works in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. His long relationship with clay began with his experiences in the Earth Sciences where he spent many years studying ancient landforms and the generation of clays in the Australian landscape. The subject of his practice is often focused on the natural world and the interactions of people with the landscape. More recently he has been exploring the relationship between technology, culture and landforms expressed in stoneware ceramics and oxide glazes.
